When my daughter was 4 years old, I started playing Kanoodle Jr with her at bedtime. She was having trouble settling down at night, and I noticed that when we spent just 10 to 15 minutes playing together, she was much calmer and fell asleep more easily. It became a sweet part of our bedtime routine — quiet, screen-free, and just the two of us.
Over time, I found myself looking forward to it just as much as she did. I loved watching her grow more confident, more curious, and more resilient as she worked through each little puzzle. She didn’t give up when things got tricky — she tried again, and again. I could see her problem-solving skills blossoming right in front of me.
As she got a little older, we graduated to Kanoodle Head-to-Head — and suddenly bedtime turned into a friendly competition. We'd race to solve puzzles, laugh at our silly mistakes, and celebrate each little win.
One night, I turned to my husband and said,
“These are going to be my core memories.”
They really are.
These quiet moments — filled with play, connection, and growth — are exactly why I started Little Puzzle Club. Because sometimes, the simplest games lead to the most meaningful memories.
